Our Vision as a Start-Up Church is to Build a Charismatic Christian Community for the Glory of God in the Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven, and Beyond.

We believe in empowering God's People as the New Testament teaches that every believer in Christ is anointed to minister for His glory. Therefore, the Church is to be a growing organism, not an organisation, not a hospital, and not a place for a consumer mentality where everything is centred on "Me" - My needs and my comfort. Our Heart is to see the Church becoming Kingdom-focused as opposed to being Self-focused.

We understand that those "in" Christ have been crucified with Him (Galatians 2:20) but we also believe that those who follow Jesus ought to deny themselves and surrender to the will of the Father, just like Jesus did (Mark 8:34-38; Luke 22:42).

Our current model is Home Church with a focus on seeing our members grow into becoming more like Jesus Christ in word and deed through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Along with that, a part of our vision is to grow a network of Home Churches where we corporately meet together as a Church.

 

We believe that the Church is to be real, open, close, and personal like Jesus was on earth. This is very different to the Church model that exists in much of the globe, which is strongly based on numerical growth, financial success, hierarchy, and is often very autocratic in nature -

This being said, we fully understand that God's Kingdom has government and leadership but it ought to be balanced with the Holy Spirit, Bible teaching, equipping, and training plus the grace, mercy, love, honour, and proper judgement of our Lord -
